WHAT WE DO

MABE Bio is a Textile Innovation Centre that combines technology and nature to create new materials and finishes from plants.

By investigating the potential of Brazilian biodiversity, our goal is to create products that can coexist in balance with the planet.

Combining ancestral and contemporary technologies and intertwining knowledge from different areas, we want to reveal how raw materials considered ordinary can be transformed into high-value textile materials for different industries such as fashion, accessories, product, automotive, upholstery, decoration, among others.

HOW WE DO

Through a systemic and circular development process, our proposal is to build a disruptive production model based on industry 4.0, fostering the local economy and bringing commercial value to abundant raw materials with no or little commercial value.
